You’ll find the exact amounts and steps in the printable recipe card below.
How to Make It
Line a large baking sheet with parchment. Melt the green candy melts with the coconut oil over simmering water (or in short microwave bursts) until smooth. Dip each pretzel rod into the green candy, let the extra drip off, and lay it on the parchment. While the coating is still wet, press an almond onto the tip of each one for the fingernail. Use a toothpick dipped in melted black candy to draw a few knuckle lines, then chill until set.
Tips for the Best Witch Finger Pretzel Rods
- Melt slowly. Use simmering water or short microwave bursts and stir until smooth.
- Let it drip. Let the extra candy drip back into the bowl before you lay them down.
- Work fast with the almonds. Press them on while the coating is still wet.
- Use a toothpick. It makes thin knuckle lines easy.
- Chill to set. A few minutes in the fridge firms them up.
