Vampire's Kiss Mocktail

A blood-red, bubbly Halloween mocktail with cranberry juice, black cherry soda and grenadine, finished with a black sugar rim.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cranberry juice chilled
  • 2 cups black cherry soda chilled
  • 1/4 cup grenadine
  • corn syrup and black sanding sugar for the rim
  • maraschino cherries for garnish
  • ice

Equipment

  • Tall glasses

Method
 

  1. Dip the rims of tall glasses in corn syrup, then in black sanding sugar to coat.
  2. Fill the glasses with ice.
  3. Pour in the cranberry juice, black cherry soda, and grenadine; stir gently.
  4. Drop in a maraschino cherry or two and serve right away.

Notes

  • Chill the juice and soda first.
  • Serve right away.
