Witch Hat Cupcakes

Chocolate cupcakes topped with a chocolate kiss witch hat and an orange frosting band. The easiest Halloween cupcakes ever, no decorating skills needed!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix + eggs, oil, water per box directions
  • 1 can chocolate frosting
  • 12 chocolate kisses unwrapped
  • 1 tube orange frosting for hat bands

Equipment

  • Muffin tin

Method
 

  1. Bake the cupcakes per the box directions; cool completely.
  2. Frost each cupcake with chocolate frosting.
  3. Press a chocolate kiss point-up into the center of each for the hat tip.
  4. Pipe an orange frosting band around the base of each kiss.

Notes

  • Cool the cupcakes completely before frosting.
  • Press each kiss point-up into the center.
