You’ll find the exact amounts and steps in the printable recipe card below.

How to Make It

Spread the refried beans in a 9-inch pie dish and spread the guacamole over the beans. Beat the cream cheese, 1 cup of the sour cream and the taco seasoning until smooth and spread it over the guacamole. Sprinkle on the cheddar, tomatoes and olives. Put the rest of the sour cream in a zip-top bag, snip a corner, and pipe circles on top, then drag a toothpick from the center out to make the web. Build a little spider from the extra olive slices, set it on the web, and serve it with tortilla chips.

Tips for the Best Spooky Spider Web Taco Dip

  • Soften the cream cheese. It beats up smooth with the sour cream and seasoning.
  • Save sour cream for the web. Use 1 cup in the dip and save the other 1/2 cup for piping.
  • Snip a small corner. A small hole in the bag makes thin, neat circles.
  • Drag from the center out. Pull a toothpick outward through the circles to make the web.
  • Save a few olives. Keep extra olive slices to build the spider.
